Russell falls

Andy is through to the fourth round at the Indian Wells Masters 1000 after a 6-3 7-5 win over World No. 68 Michael Russell.
He will now play Nicolas Almagro or James Blake.
Russell proved a spirited opponent amid blustery conditions, and in patches produced tennis that belied his ranking.
"He made it difficult for me," said Andy. "If you look at his results when he's played in slams, it's been close - match points against Kuerten, five sets with Hewitt, a really good match this year with Del Potro at the Australian Open. He's got a great attitude, he fights really hard, and he made it difficult."

Andy has moved through to the quarter-final stages of the Masters 1000 in Indian Wells after Nicolas Almagro retired hurt with Andy leading 6-2 1-0.
The Spaniard had treatment on his left ankle at the end of the first set, and pulled the ripcord shortly after.
Andy plays Robin Soderling next, after he came through a 6-3 6-4 winner against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Set for Monte Carlo

Andy will play at the 2010 Monte Carlo Masters 1000 after being handed a wild card.
The tournament begins on April 11th.
Andy made the semi-final stages of the event last year, losing to Rafa Nadal.

مگه وایلد کارد برای بازیکنان بد( مثلا رنک 200 ) نیست؟ اندی که رنک 3 ه
در ضمن مگه این طور نیست که اگر از وایلد کارد استفاده کنی یه مقدار امتیاز از ان شخص کم میشه؟

براي شركت در يك تورنمنت تا چند روز قبل از تورنمنت (الان دقيق يادم نيست) فرضت داري اسمتو بدي، بعد از اون ديگه نميشه، اندي هم براي مونته كارلو اسمش رو در موعد مقرر نداده بود، ولي وايلدكارد اينطور نيست در آخرين لحظات تصميش اتخاذ ميگيره، وايلدكارد اصلا براي همين چيزاست، يعني يه فرصت براي افرادي هستش كه شرايط خاصي دارند، مثلا ژوستن انه امسال برگشت سابقا نامبروان بوده ولي الان رنكش اينقدر خوب نبود مستقيم وارد تورنمنتها بشه واسه همين بهش وايلدكارد ميدن، يا راجر فدرر همين مونتهكارلو پاراسل اولش اسمش رو نداده بود بعدش درخواست داد شركت كنه، يكي ديگه از موارد تخصيص وايلدكارد به بازكناي بومي اون كشور تعلق ميگيره كه باز از لحاط رنكينگ وضعشون خوب نيست و نميتونن مستقيما وارد جدول بشن، مثلا تو تورنمنتهاي كشورهاي عربي معمولا يه عرب دربه داغون مياد همينطوري تو جدول اصلي.

Andy through in Rome

Andy is through to the third round of the Rome Masters 1000 after a comprehensive 6-2 6-4 win over Andreas Seppi.
Back to winning ways, and a performance with which Andy was reasonably pleased.
"I served really well when I needed to," said Andy. "There were a few things I could have done better, but for a first round it was good."
"There's almost less pressure on the clay," he added. "Everyone was panicking - I played a couple of bad tournaments. It happens."

Murray attended Dunblane Primary School, where he experienced the Dunblane Massacre of 1996.[17] Thomas Hamilton killed 17 people, mostly children who were in a younger age group than Murray, before turning one of his four guns on himself. Murray himself took cover in a classroom.[18] Murray says he was too young to understand what was happening and is reluctant to talk about it in interviews, but in his autobiography Hitting Back he says that he attended a youth group run by Hamilton, and that his mother gave him rides in her car.[19]
