Women's Singles — Final
Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (RUS) d. [3] Sara Errani (ITA) 3-6, 6-2, 6-3

i• It was an amazing end to an amazing week for Pavlyuchenkova, who had beaten three seeds in a row en route to the final already — No.7 seed Carla Suárez Navarro, No.4 seed Angelique Kerber and No.1 seed Maria Sharapova.i

i• With wins over the No.9-ranked Kerber, the No.5-ranked Sharapova and the No.7-ranked Errani, she beat three Top 10 players in the same tournament for the very first time.i
i• Nastia came away with her biggest career title — her first Premier-level title.i

i• It was the Russian's sixth overall WTA title, her first five coming at International-level tournaments (she is a three-time winner at Monterrey, in 2010, 2011 and 2013, plus conquering Istanbul in 2010 and Oeiras in 2013).i
i• Errani was also seeking the biggest title of her career. She's now 7-8 lifetime in WTA finals.i

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova: When I lost seven games in a row I don't really know what happened — maybe I was a little stressed because I was missing some shots and she was so solid," Pavlyuchenkova said. "Also, I was serving so well throughout the tournament and there were times today where I was struggling on serve.i


i"But I knew it was from my side, so if I just focused and kept fighting I could get it back."i

Sara Errani: "I'm still very happy I could make the final," the Italian said. "I had very good matches from the first round, from Knapp to Svitolina to Cornet, but I was a little bit more tired than normal in the match today because of yesterday. It was very tough to recover. But it was still a very good week for me."i




Women's Doubles — Final

i• Groenefeld and Peschke now have three WTA doubles titles together, having won Linz in 2012 and Brussels in 2013.i
i• This is their second Premier title together — Brussels was also a Premier event.i
i• Peschke has a penchant for winning in Paris — this is the third time she has won here, having also done it in 2005 (with Iveta Melzer) and 2006 (with Emilie Loit).i
i• She's actually just the third player in the tournament's 22-year history to capture the doubles title three times, alongside Jana Novotna (who won it in 1993, 1996 and 1997) and Liezel Huber (who won it in 2007, 2009 and 2012).i

Anna-Lena Groenefeld: "Kveta's playing with Katarina this year and I have different partners, but we played together last year and know each other very well," Groenefeld said. "It was a tough week and a tough final, but we stayed calm and to finish the week with a victory is really nice. We're really happy with this victory."i

Kveta Peschke: "Anna didn't have a partner this week and I didn't either, so it just happened," Peschke said. "It's hard to compare victories — every title is special — but of course we're very excited to win the title here."i
