من فکر می کنم مشکل اصلی از ترجمه ی این دوستمون هست که علاقه ی وافرشون به نواک و تنفر بیش از حدشون از فدرر باعث شده که یه بخش هاییش رو هر چی خودشون خواستن ترجمه کنن. بنده به عنوان یه مترجم رسمی به این ترجمه از 20، صفر هم نمی دم چون خیلی ایرادهای بزرگی توش داره که من هم حوصله ندارم همه اش رو بگم، اما اون بخش های اصلیش که باعث سوءتفاهم شده رو می گم تا بقیه ی دوستان بدونن که عمو تونی اونقدرا هم ساده نیست که بگه فدرر هیچ شانسی نداره.

He added that he does not see former champion Federer as a favorite.
Toni Nadal also said that the Federer-Nadal era of dominance is over and that the world’s best player is now No. 1 Novak Djokovic.
“It is likely that in the coming years we will see more players with chances to win,” he said. “The players I see with chances to fight for the Grand Slam tournaments are those we all know: The top four in the rankings. If Rafael is healthy he is one of them. But then I also think that del Potro will be there for sure. I also think it’s clear that Ferrer has a chance of winning a Grand Slam. David plays well everywhere, although it is true that he has never done it and being 30 years old can be a handicap, but game-wise he is more than capable. اول از همه اون کلمه ی favorite هستش که یعنی محبوب، و ترجمه ی اون قسمت می شه:

محبوبش برای رولان گاروس رو نام برد و گفت قهرمان هفت دوره رولان گاروس رافا، [بازیکن] محبوب اصلیش نیست و او فقط یکی از جمع بازیکنان محبوب اوست که عبارتند از: نواک جوکوویچ، اندی موری، خوان مارتین دل پوترو و داوید فرر. او اضافه کرد که قهرمان سابق راجر فدرر را یکی از بازیکنان محبوبش به حساب نمی آورد.
دوم هم اینکه این دوستمون یه بخش آخر صحبت های عمو تونی رو به سبک و سیاق سانسورچی ها حذف کردن تا صحبت هاش در مورد فرر جور دیگه ای تفسیر بشه. عموتونی در آخر صحبت هاش می گه:
این احتمال وجود داره که در سال های آینده بازیکن های بیشتری رو ببینیم که شانس بردن [گرند اسلم] داشته باشن. بازیکن هایی که از دید من شانس رقابت برای گرند اسلم ها رو دارن اونایی هست که ما همه می شناسیمشون: چهار نفر اول رده بندی جهانی. اگر رافائل سالم باشد می تواند در بین آنها باشد. اما من فکر می کنم که مطمئناً دل پوترو هم بین آن ها خواهد بود. من همچنین فکر می کنم این کاملاً واضح است که فرر شانس بردن یک گرند اسلم را دارد. داوید همه جا خوب بازی می کند. با وجود این واقعیت که او قبلاً موفق به انجام این کار [بردن گرند اسلم] نشده است و 30 ساله بودن او هم می تواند مانعی به حساب بیاید، اما او از لحاظ بازی کاملاً این توانایی را دارد. من این شش نفر را انتخاب می کنم چون بقیه را پایین تر از آنها می بینم.
این هم ترجمه ی دقیق اون بخش هایی که بحث انگیز بودن. می شه با حرف های عموتونی موافق یا مخالف بود، اما نباید به ترجمه های غلطی که از این حرف ها می شه اعتماد کرد. طفلکی جوکوویچ که هوادار اصلیش توی ایران زبانش اونقدر خوب نیست که بتونه یه متن رو درست ترجمه کنه.
