i• The Bogotá doubles final saw the No.1 seeds go down, at the hands of Lara Arruabarrena and Caroline Garcia.i
i• At the Claro Open Colsanitas against Vania King and Chanelle Scheepers, Arruabarrena and Garcia let a 5-2 first set lead slip away before winning it in a tie-break and from 4-3 down in the second set won three straight games for a 76(5) 64 triumph.i

i• Arruabarrena and Garcia's first event together was a memorable one, in that they became the first team since Chan Chin-Wei and Xu Yi-Fan in Seoul last September to defeat the Top 3 seeds en route to a WTA doubles title.i
i• This was Arruabarrena's second WTA doubles title, having also won Katowice exactly a year ago, and Garcia's first.i
i• The Frenchwoman also beat Jelena Jankovic on Sunday for her first WTA singles title, making her the first player since Serena Williams at the Olympics in August 2012 to capture the singles and doubles at the same WTA-level tournament.i
