i• Mikhail Youzhny won his second ATP World Tour crown of the season (also Gstaad) and lifted the 10th trophy of his career with victory over fellow 31-year-old David Ferrer.i
i• In total, 16 players over the age of 30 have won on the ATP World Tour this year, three more than last year's tally.i

i• Youzhny has risen up to 14th position in the Emirates ATP Race to London. Three singles spots are left up for grabs at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals, to be held at The O2 in London from 4-11 November.i
i• Ferrer, the three-time Valencia titlist and defending champion, has now lost in the final of six straight ATP World Tour tournaments. The Barclays ATP World Tour Finals qualifier is 2-6 in titles matches in 2013.i

Ferrer: “The truth is that Youzhny played very good. He sliced and served very well. He was more comfortable than me on court, I was missing touch.”i

Peya: “At the end, when you're down 6-9 with Bob [Bryan] serving, the chances are not big you're going to turn it around. We managed to hang in there and we're standing here with the trophy. [We're] very, very happy."i
