i Grigor Dimitrov captured his first ATP World Tour title. The 22 year old becomes the eighth first time champion in 2013.i
i He is the first Bulgarian to win on the ATP World Tour in the Open Era.i






i Dimitrov had the opportunity to meet with the Swedish royal family following the match, including Crown Princess H.R.H. Victoria, H.R.H. Prince Daniel and little Princess Estelle.i
i It was the Bulgarian’s second final on the ATP World Tour after falling to Andy Murray in straight sets in the season-opening Brisbane International.i





Dimitrov: "It's one of my biggest wins. To beat a top guy in a final. It's a great feeling and it's good for your mental state. You know you can hang with these guys and the next time you play against them, especially in the Grand Slams, you will be better prepared.i


i"Even if I would have lost the match, the most imporant thing was to test myself to the limits and try to control what I can. This was icing on the cake.i





i"I'm going to come on court and fight as much as I can. (Success) is never a guarantee. The best thing in tennis is that you have a next week. My goal is to strive to do better and work harder and eventually everything else is going to pay you back."i

i Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and Jean-Julien Rojer boosted their chance of qualifying for the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals as they captured their second title of the season.i
i The 41-year-old Bjorkman was contesting his first tournament in nearly five years this week as he came out of retirement in a bid to win the Stockholm title for the fourth time.i
i The 33-year-old Qureshi improved to a 9-10 finals record, while Rojer, 31, also picked up his ninth ATP World Tour title (9-11 record).i




Qureshi: “So many great champions have won this tournament. I have to say I've been lucky enough to win it twice. It was a great honour to play against Jonas. The club is unbelievable. I love Stockholm and it's just great to be back here and win this tournament. Our target was to do well here to qualify for the [Barclays ATP World Tour Finals] and I think after winning this, it looks pretty good."i





Rojer: "It was a great final. Very nice atmosphere and a beautiful court to play on. We both played a very good match today. It was very exciting to play against Jonas, of course. I thought my partner and I both played very well."i
