i• In just their second event as a duo, Jurak and Moulton-Levy were victorious in three match tie-breaks this week en route to the first WTA doubles title for both players.i

i• Ana Ivanovic overpowered Jovana Jaksic in an all-Serbian final at the Abierto Monterrey on Sunday night, winning her second WTA title of the year - and 13th of her career.i
i• After a string of battles, including a few three-setters and a tight two-setter against fellow former No.1 Caroline Wozniacki in the semifinals, Ana Ivanovic came into the Abierto Monterrey final with perhaps the toughest challenge of them all - a match with good friend and fellow Serb Jovana Jaksic.i

i• aving also won in Auckland in the first week of the year, Ivanovic is now the third player this season to win multiple WTA titles, alongside Top 2 players Serena Williams and Li Na.i
i• Additionally, it's the first time the 2008 French Open champion has captured multiple WTA titles in a season since 2010.i
i• Jaksic had a dream week, too. Before this week she only had one WTA main draw-level match win to her name, a first round win right here a year ago - on the very same courts this year, she won four in a row to reach her first WTA final, including a dramatic semifinal win over Kimiko Date-Krumm.i

Ana Ivanovic: "I think we both enjoyed the final tonight - it was very special for our country, it was the first time two players from our country were in a WTA final together," Ivanovic said afterwards. "It was also great to see Jovana doing so well this week. I think she definitely has a bright future ahead of her.i


i"Last year I lost very early here in Monterrey but I had so much fun that I wanted to come back, so to make it this far this year is amazing. And every title is so special. I had some tough matches this week but I feel so happy to get through each of them, and this title is definitely one of my favorites."i


Jovana Jaksic: "My feelings are so mixed up right now," Jaksic said. "I am sad because I lost the final, but I have nothing to be upset about because it was an amazing week for me. This is what we dream about, to make finals like this, and to play against a true champion and one of the best players in the world was just a dream come true. It's tough to play against friends, but I think we played a really good match tonight, and I'm really proud of myself because I did my best this week and have nothing to regret."i
