اول از اقا میلاد گل تشکر میکنم به خاطر قضیه ای که خودش میدونه
دوم از باخت اندی خیلی ناراحت شدم
امسال بعد استرالیا به این اندازه از باخت ماری ناراحت نشده بودم
Q. Your thoughts on the match?
Well, a lot of good points but I couldn't convert my chances. A lot of 30-30, or 15-30 points. I didn't make enough returns so that was a little disappointing. I wasn't able to create more breakpoint opportunities and my serve wasn’t good. The best part of my game is taking the ball to different levels -- the last tournament it went much better and today I just didn't do the things that you tend to do better the more matches to play. I am a lot happier today than I was last year. Today I was able to run after the ball and I fought until the end.
Q. You change your game-plan various times during that match by the look of it. What shots were so difficult to play against?
Well. It was like that the whole match. He doesn't give you any free points and he's got a strong serve and he puts a lot of them in the corner and his incredibly quick. That's why he's been around the top of the game for a long long time. He obviously played very well on clay and has been playing for the past couple of weeks and he's just a very solid and good player.
Q. Andy, do you think you're giving any consideration to play an extra tournament between now and Paris or is it just still Madrid?
No. I think you've got to stick to a plan. This week I just felt so much better than I did in Monte Carlo because I was able to play and practice and get into shape. So, I have another week of hard training and hard practice and I think that will be more beneficial to go and play another tournament. It's a long long stretch coming up with the French Open and Wimbledon and obviously I don't want to take time off but a couple of days just to get your body right again, then you work hard again for a week to get ready for Madrid.
Q. Andy, before the tournament you talked about the problems you had. Not a problem about confidence but more a problem about match fitness and a physical problem -- not being 100% physically. Do you think you're much better from that point of view now?
Yes. I'm fit obviously. When you talk about match fitness is not about not being fit but more about being “match tired”. Obviously the training is more physically tiring but more nerves and focus go into the match. I think that if I had played more matches than I would certainly have done better. Yes, I am a little bit disappointed but I'm also happy with the way I hit the ball and I'm playing a lot of matches on tour so if I keep hitting the ball like that then I think I will do pretty good in a tournament soon.
Q. Roland Garros tournament you play best-of-five. Are these tournaments preparing you for that and do you think you have more chance with Ferrer if you had to play the best-of-five or would it be different?
You never know. But a best-of-five match is more demanding physically but you know, if you get off to a bad start then you have is time to turn the match around. But yes, they are very difficult because all of the top players come to them and so they are very difficult to win. I have the Grand Slam just around the corner so it's good to be playing against top players and just see what your games like and what needs to improve and I may have learned a lot from this match against one of the best clay-court players in the world. I didn't feel like I was playing my game from the baseline and staying with him but that's something that is quite easy to practice.
Q. Andy, you don't have great performance here so when you come to Rome you just think about getting time on the court and trying to improve your game?
No, I tried to win as many matches as possible and if you look at the guys that I've lost two in the past few years, they're pretty good players and obviously for the conditions here are very different from the others which have been much quicker courts which suit me better but like I said, I feel I played well today and I didn't play rubbish and I'm happy with that.
